The Library of Congress has extensive holdings of all kinds of cartoons, but the exhibition Cartoon America may be of particular interest.  It highlights the remarkable collection of James Arthur Wood, Jr., who entrusted his life's work to the Library of Congress.  The Art Wood Collection of Cartoon and Caricature contains more than 36,000 original cartoon drawings, including the 102 digitized items selected for this exhibition.  Click on the "exhibition items" tab to view them.
