You will work to complete various geography assignments as a way to earn your passport. Once you receive your passport, then you become a virtual tourist and will have an opportunity to plan a trip to any city or town in the world and create a guidebook for travelers.

Next, as a virtual tourist you and your partner must plan a trip to the place on which you can agree. Using the selected links you will be asked to research selected sites and gather material to create a guidebook that is your final product.
The guidebook may be online as a Web page or “zine” or in scrapbook form that you turn in to your teacher after your class presentation. You will use this end product as the backdrop for your presentation to a group of travel agents who are considering organizing a class trip for people your age in the near future. Using maps, statistics, and other items, your job will be to convince the travel agents that your destination is the best one to choose.
