September 11, 2001 - A day to remember forever.

September 11 was a tragic day in American history. It is one that will be remembered for centuries to come. Around 3,000 innocent Americans were killed that day. The memory of these people needs to be kept.

You have been selected from an elite group to participate in a monument building challenge. You and your partner will be given the opportunity to create your own monument to those who died during the September 11th attacks.

But before you dig your hands in the cement, you need to understand the important role of mathematics in creating monuments, or what I like to call, Archimatics. (Architecture + Mathematics = Archimatics) This LibraryQuest will take you to some of the most famous monuments in America to show you the importance of math.
