for Students
Unit Opener: |
You will work in groups to evaluate the unity of Europe. |
Activity Part I: |
You and your partner will be assigned one
of the following European countries:

Activity Part II: |
You and your partner will research your European country. Use the Tour of Europe Daily Progress Sheet to organize your information and the links above to find information about your country.
You must check with your teacher daily to discuss your research. Your teacher will make sure that you have the correct information by initialing each section. |
Activity Part III: |
You and your partner will create a brochure in Microsoft Publisher that will educate and persuade people to visit your country. Please use the brochure grade rubric to view how you will be graded. |
Activity Part IV: |
You will participate in a class scavenger hunt that will allow you to see the brochures of other countries. |
Activity Part V: |
Meet with your partner, and evaluate the question, "Is
Europe a region of increasing unity or disunity?"
Discuss your opinion using facts to support your opinion.
Use the Opinion - Proof to organize your ideas.

Process: |
After your discussion, you will create a political cartoon that demonstrates your understanding of the unit question, "Is Europe a region of increasing unity or disunity?" Please use the political cartoon grade rubric to view how you will be graded. |
