Civil War
How does social, geographical or political status change your perspective about the Civil War?

Task

Welcome New Docents!!

You will choose one of the roles listed below to research. Your task will be to create a paper costume and a mini skit which will be your Museum presentation on our Grand Opening Day.

COSTUME

The costume will be representative of your role based on your research using pictures and descriptions. It will be constructed mostly of paper, but you may use some scraps of material. See Process for more details.

MINI SKIT

The mini skit will be performed, but a written version will be handed in as part of the project. See Process for more details.

Consider the following general questions before you choose your role:

What was my daily life like?

What beliefs or views did I hold?

What battles or events did I witness?

How did the war affect me?

How did the war affect my home?
