Evaluation
Although you will work as a team to accomplish
all tasks for each quest, each team member will be graded individually
for their work. Your
work on each task will be evaluated and graded on the basis
of six standards. These standards are designed to help you
use the resources identified along your way to unravel the
legacies woven by Native Americans, by religious groups, by
other countries and cultures, and by women into the fabric
of our country.
Content Knowledge |
Have you been able to
find historically accurate and relevant details and make
inferences from the primary sources in the web quest? |
Application of Factual
and Inferred Knowledge |
Are you consistently
able to use the historical details and inferences to answer
the web quest questions? Is your work your own? |
Depth |
Have you used the web
quest activities to explore possibilities and record thoughts? Does
your work show you have taken time and given your attention
to the quest? |
Focus on Task |
When working in class
do you consistently stay focused on the tasks and what
needs to be done to complete web quest activities? |
Grammar and Spelling |
Is your work free of
misspellings or grammatical errors? |
Neatness and Legibility |
Is your work neatly
done and very legible in order to best communicate ideas
to the reader? |
On each segment of your quest, we encourage
you to use the knowledge and experience of your team members
as a guide to generate new ideas and unravel the intricate patterns
history has woven into our past. Always remain steadfast in your quest
to link historic details, inferences, and ideas you may draw from
the tasks you undertake to the questions which guide your journey. However,
remember too that you are responsible for your own achievement and
accomplishment. Do not just rely
on the work of others. As always, you are the master of your
own quest.
