Chapter 6: Use the Primary Source Lesson Plan Collection

This chapter provides information to learn more about the Primary Source Lesson Plans Collection. The Lesson Plans in the collection are designed and implemented by classroom teachers and reviewed for publication through My Portfolio. Lesson Plans are developed, implemented, revised, and often published. Visitors to www.PrimarySourceLearning.org may field test Lesson Plans. The comments from field testing Lesson Plans may be seen by teachers when searching the collection. The Lesson Plan collection is reviewed by a committee of teachers of each subject annually to weed the collection to ensure the Lesson Plans in each subject area are current and offer depth and breadth of content related to the subject, instructional strategies, and primary sources used.
